  1. Hi, We're currently modelling a 460ha catchment with rainfall on the grid. We are modelling roughly 2000 pits and pipes in the network. I have run ten ARR2019 temporal patterns for the 1% AEP 30 minute duration storm, and on first glance all seems well. However, I started looking at the flow going into all the pits and found a lot of the pits are showing a strange inflow hydrograph. It generally looks like the top of the hydrograph I’m expecting to see has been inverted on itself. See attachment. It seems to mainly occur where there is substantial flooding around the pit entry area. It also always starts around the 0.2 hour mark, generally a little before but it changes by pit.   3. Hi, I am modelling a 460ha urban catchment with a large number of pits and pipes (~2000). The model is running as expected however between bursts the pipeflow in most pipes does not return to 0, and instead plateaus at a number greater than 0. By the time that flows are reaching the bottom end of the pipe network the cumulative effect of this is significant (see attachment). I've cross checked flows entering the pipe network via the pits and they don't seem to match. i.e. pit inflow =0, pipeflow > 0 (even at the most upstream pipe). The model is rainfall on grid and being run using GPU HPC. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this? Many thanks, Josh

Hello, I am running a 2013, double precision, TUFLOW model and having an issue with a 1D Bridge (Type B, automatically generated losses) It is showing large fluctuations once it reaches a certain flow (~80m3/s). The model runs successfully and has <0.1% MB error. We have run smaller flows (peak ~50m3/s) through the model and had no issues. See attached for fluctuations... The 1d element is modelled as a type B bridge with a 0.8 form loss, and manning’s of 0.13. The cross section of the bridge is below (image attached).   5. Hi, I'm in a bit of a odd situation; I have created a levee in my 2d domain using Read GIS Z Shape (Z=2, Shape Opti= ADD). I can see that the DEM has successfully been amended to include the desired levee by checking the "DEM_Z.flt" check file . However, the modelled flood appears to ignore the altered DEM (see attached, red is DEM_Z.flt, blue is modelled water level). Furthermore, looking at the depth results I can see the depth is -1.65 m over the levee, however checking the messages.mif file, no warnings of negative depths are recorded for this location. The model incorperates three (3) 2D domains, but I don't think this would be presenting the issue. Does anybody have any ideas about how I might be able to remedy this? I'd love to hear your input.   6. Hi, I'm trying to mass produce channel cross sections from my DEM using QGIS (v2.18.11). I've looked at this https://wiki.tuflow.com/index.php?title=QGIS_Extract_CrossSections which points me towards a QGIS plugin called "profile from line", however, this doesn't seem to be available through the QGIS plugin manager anymore. Does anybody know if this plugin has been renamed, or if there is another simple way to produce cross sections? Thanks in advance, Josh

Hi all, I have produced a 2d model of a creek and would like to know if it is possible to produce a cross section of the channel with a cross section of the water elevation. e.g I am using QGIS and the only way I can think of doing this is by using the profile tool plugin and adding the .xmdf file and the DEM_Z.flt check file to the plotted cross section, however this also plot zero values and I end up with this: I will need to produce many of these so going through this method for each section is not practical. Does anybody have any recomendations? Thanks! Josh
