TUFLOW Demonstration and Training Material

Recommended Posts

The TUFLOW Team have been busy in recent months creating model demonstration and training material. These new datasets will be useful for new users learning the basics and experienced modellers wishing to further develop their skills.

A demonstration dataset has been created using over 50 example models to showcase the most commonly used TUFLOW features and model configurations. The models have been categorised under the following topics:

-          2D Overland Flow

-          Output Options

-          Boundary Condition Options

-          Topography Updates

-          Loss Options

-          Scenario/Event Management

-      Bridges

-          1D/2D Modelling

-          1D Operating Structures

-          2D/2D Modelling

-          2D GPU

The models are free to download and run. See the TUFLOW Wiki for more information and download links: http://wiki.tuflow.com/index.php?title=Example_Models_Home_page.

A webinar page now exists on the TUFLOW Wiki for sharing useful modelling information: http://wiki.tuflow.com/index.php?title=TUFLOW_Modelling_Webinars.

Rachel Jensen has recently uploaded a series of videos which step through Tutorial Module 1. This will be useful for new users. Other webinars also exist on the site that discuss 2D modelling, modelling with different cell sizes and modelling structures. Stay tuned for more video uploads in the future.

If there’s anything else you’d like us to add then we’d love to hear your ideas at support@tuflow.com.

Happy modelling,

Chris Huxley
